Default PVE Build Help

Trapping is a major part of my play style, I already wanted Spike Trap and after seeing the video below I want it even more-

My question is, would this build work well in other areas?

Note: Currently running heroes out to agro range while I trap to avoid any interruptions

People have been using trapper builds to clear areas for a long time, so there'll certainly be more places you can run that type of build. Farming melee groups is generally quite easy. Not sure how well it compares to the alternatives nowadays in terms of speed though, and it might not put out enough damage without the (up to) +40% Lightbringer damage bonus against other groups. Smaller mobs also means fewer EoE triggers too. Without really having much first hand trapping experience I'd say large parts of NM and select parts of HM can be cleared, though you may have to make changes.

Normal Mode (nm) Hard Mode (hm).
only after completion of the final mission can hard mode be unlocked, in prophecies that is hell's precipice, factions its imperial sanctum, nightfall its abaddons gate, and in eye its a time for heroes. in hard mode, all enemies have more, hitpoints, energy, etc as well as being higher levels. In hard mode you can vanquish, which means clear the whole area you are in of all enemies, gaining some reward in the process --usually gold and xp, but in nightfall, some factions areas and eye of the north you will also gain reputation (kurzick points, lightbringer points, asuran points, etc).
